New Vitae Wellness and Recovery at the 2015 Beyond the Badge GalaNovember 9, 2015
On November 7th, members of the New Vitae Wellness and Recovery team proudly attended the Beyond the Badge Gala, hosted at DeSales University to support the The David M. Petzold Memorial Foundation. The foundation is a nonprofit organization established to honor the memory of Upper Saucon Police Officer David Petzold, and works to create positive relationships between children and law enforcement officers to encourage good citizenship and service. The event's guests had the opportunity to celebrate with the 2015 Officer David M. Petzold Award for Outstanding Community Service recipient: Trooper Alexander Figueroa. Trooper Figueroa enjoys teaching children about healthy lifestyle choices, and provides support and encouragement to the children and families in his community.
The night was filled with good wishes, giving the opportunity for attendees to support the work of the Petzold Foundation while celebrating the dedication of Trooper Figueroa. The night's guests enjoyed sharing in the evening's events, and were treated to additional information about the David M. Petzold Digital Forensics Lab of Lehigh County, located on the Desales University campus. The evening honored the life of Officer Petzold and the work of Trooper Figueroa. New Vitae Wellness and Recovery team members were pleased to be able to sponsor a table and support this great community event!
