At New Vitae Wellness and Recovery, we are dedicated to recognizing and honoring the exceptional contributions of our team members. This month, we are thrilled to spotlight two of our remarkable employees, Morgan Johnson and Taliah Mason, who have been featured in the prestigious Women’s Veterans Magazine, Pennsylvania Edition. These veteran heroes at New Vitae Wellness and Recovery exemplify the resilience and dedication that define our organization.
“It’s an honor to share my journey and inspire others who might be facing similar challenges,” says Morgan Johnson, a former United States Air Force member and now a Care Coordinator at our Pathways Supportive Apartment Program. Her article, “Rising from the Ashes: My Odyssey of Resilience and Triumph,” details her path from military service to overcoming adversity and finding purpose in helping others. Morgan’s story is a testament to resilience and dedication, qualities she brings to her role at New Vitae Wellness and Recovery.
Taliah Mason, a United States Army veteran and the Director of Nursing at our RTFA (Residential Treatment for Adults) Philadelphia Location, shares her experiences in her article, “The Talk Fuels Success: How Persistence Can Transform Your Life.” “Mental health is crucial, and I want others to know that seeking help is a sign of strength, not weakness,” Taliah emphasizes. Her leadership and commitment to making a difference shine through her work at New Vitae, inspiring both staff and residents.
The stories of Morgan and Taliah highlight the challenges and triumphs faced by women veterans. Their narratives offer an intimate look into the realities of military service, the sacrifices made, and the enduring spirit that drives them to continue serving their communities.
“We are incredibly proud of Morgan and Taliah,” says Judith Yanacek, CEO of New Vitae Wellness and Recovery. “Their contributions go beyond their roles; they embody the spirit of resilience, compassion, and dedication that defines our organization.”
